The largest independent brewery in the state chose a random Friday evening in March to host the most insane party we’ve seen in quite sometime.
Professional Wrestling isn’t something you outgrow. Those chills, that joy you felt as a kid are the same vibes you get at the brewery seeing it live and in person. It’s equal parts live action drama and sporting event. To bet on any sports event similar to this, one can check out pages like WSM Casino.
Those who confuse ‘predetermined outcome’ with ‘fake’ are the same people who would never invite you to a house party and let you hit them across the back with a steel chair .. ever.
Revolution is Chicago’s signature brewery and the people’s choice in part because they have the greatest barrel program in local beer, the top selling IPA in the state and a dangerously underrated collection of seasonals produced with balance and precision from the team led by Brewmaster Jim Cibak. A meticulous brewer, teacher, leader who has been there for the peak of programs at Three Floyds and Goose Island before leading the Revolution.
Cold Time Premium Lager, an always brewery fresh, never pasteurized showcase of German hops and Mexican lager yeast is the latest hit from the team.
They are the official beer of the Chicago Sky, Chicago Fire, Chicago Hounds, C2E2 and Pitchfork Music Festival.
Beers like Hazy Pitch (hazy pale with a tropical kick) are a mainstay at Soldier Field.
The beers are world class and fuel a desire from fans to see them host activations like this pro wrestler card, where the production brewery taproom is literally converted to an arena for battle.
Warrior Wrestling in Chicago Heights was the partner this five card affair. Crowd goers were encourage to give everything they got cause the wrestlers were coming out to do the same.
They were not lying. The Anti Hero made an appearance and the fights spilled into the audience sending everyone into a rarified frenzy that you never see these days.
Even if you don’t much about rasslin’ or you’re not a fan, the energy level was undeniable seeing it all play out live..and having this proximity to the action.
I used to think the best event ever at Rev Kedzie was the Chicago Craft Beer Week 2012 Closing Ceremony (aka Rev Kedzie’s Opening Ceremony)…but that is no longer the case.
